Kyocera 過去幾年放棄手機生產 因為價格競爭力低 附加價值低
不過Kyocera現在又買 Sanyo設備
大概發現 這類產品之生產是不可放棄的
譬如說 日本最近發表新產品抗衡iphone的兩家 其中一家是台灣廠商

Sanyo to sell cellphone arm to Kyocera

Struggling Sanyo Electric Co. has decided to sell its cellphone manufacturing division to Kyocera Corp. as part of its restructuring efforts, sources said Friday.

Kyocera beat out Sharp Corp., which also sought a deal.

If realized, the deal will be the first major realignment among the domestic mobile phone makers, which have suffered shrinking profit margins due to fierce competition.(IHT/Asahi: September 15,2007)
