在香港打工，很多時候 OT 是常識。不過日本的情況也許更嚴重。「過勞死」的事例屢見不鮮。終於日本政府今月發表首份「過勞死白皮書」，詳細研究問題的現況與原因，以尋求解決辦法。

這份長達 280 頁的文件，由日本厚生勞動省公布。報告取得 1,743 家企業共 19,583 名員工的回覆。結果發現，有 8.2% 人每周工作超過 60 小時小時。超過 22.7% 企業表示，員工每月超時工作逾 80 小時，超過一成企業更指員工每月要加班超過 100 小時。各職業中，護士、長途貨運駕駛和資訊通訊業屬高危。
