位於島根縣出雲市大社町的出雲大社，神樂殿內有著國內最大規模的大型注連繩，該繩已於17日睽違6年更新。注連繩全長13.6公尺，重5.2噸。捻成一體的2大把草繩，是以約2公頃水田量的稻草製作而成，飄散著陣陣稻草微香。
